About The Position

Mural Group is partnering with a precision CNC machining company in Hamilton, Ohio, to hire an ERP / Business Analyst. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations and data. The analyst will own the company’s job shop ERP system, develop useful reporting, and help the company make better decisions using its existing data. The role combines ERP administration and optimization with operational analytics, reporting, data integrity, user training, and cross-functional support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment, including hands-on configuration or administration rather than only end-user data entry.
• Proficiency in SQL or equivalent querying tools for pulling and shaping operational data.
• Experience building dashboards or reports using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI tools.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, including job orders, work centers, scheduling, inventory, and cost tracking.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate data findings into plain-language recommendations.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with job shop ERP platforms, such as Epicor, JobBOSS, Plex, Global Shop Solutions, ProShop, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert for the job shop ERP system, including configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports for production, quality, and leadership using ERP data and BI tools.
• Partner with operations, finance, and quality teams to identify reporting gaps and develop solutions that support better decisions on the floor.
• Support ERP-related training, process documentation, and onboarding for new users.
• Analyze production, inventory, scheduling, and cost data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain data integrity across the ERP environment.
