About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for an ER RN in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The department has 28 beds, including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavior health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. Patient turnover is fast.

Requirements

• Possession of a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Hawaii.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.

Nice To Haves

• Procedural Sedation certification
• TMCC certification
• EMPC certification

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a 28-bed Emergency Room department.
• Manage care in trauma bays, behavior health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover.
