About The Position
Coordinates nursing care for patients with behavioral health issues. Participates in patient and family teaching. Administrates medications and treatment. Uses EMR, Meditech. This is a 12-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio managed by a team model. The role includes charge nurse responsibilities and requires availability for 8 and 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. There is no floating to other departments.
Requirements
- Active State of HI license required by start of assignment.
- 2 years experience in behavioral health nursing.
- BLS, NCI or other crisis prevention training.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Experience with EMR, Meditech.
