About The Position

This is a 15-week contract position for a Respiratory Therapist Tech working day shifts (0630-1900). The role involves providing continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care. The candidate must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Equipment utilized includes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 Ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience.
• Must be able to care for patients of the adult, pediatric, neonatal populations.
• No first assignments.
• RRT.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license.
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date.

Nice To Haves

• NRP preferred.
• Current Hawaii license preferred, but willing to take with application already submitted for Hawaii license.
