Organization: VCH Emergency Room ER Registrar Job Summary: To admit all patients in a timely manner. To ensure all current information has been document, signatures received, insurance has been verified, authorizations received, and the deductibles or co-pays have been requested. Ensure the wrist bands are put on the proper patients, advance directives given to each patient and patients receive the answer to any questions or concerns they may have.

Requirements

  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Less than 1 year experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Admit all patients in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure all current information has been documented, signatures received, insurance has been verified, authorizations received, and the deductibles or co-pays have been requested in a compliant manner
  • Ensure the wrist bands are put on the proper patients, advance directives given to each patient and patients receive the answer to any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Assist with in-patient patient admissions, as needed
