Equipment Support II
About The Position
Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring an Equipment Support II in Mesa, Arizona. The role supports drivers, mechanics, and customers with equipment operations and with loading and unloading equipment for transport. The employee operates equipment and makes sure it is cleaned and ready for rent. Work takes place outdoors in the elements across the shop, branch, and yard. Safety, teamwork, and helping the team meet performance goals are core expectations. The position offers opportunities for advancement within a growing company. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday on the morning shift, with no nights or weekends. Branch hours are 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime is eligible based on business needs. Pay is $18.50–$23.10 per hour, depending on experience, and is paid weekly. Sunstate is a Second Chance employer and evaluates candidates individually.
Requirements
- Comfort operating equipment.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying elements around the shop, branch, and yard.
- Full range of motion and agility, including frequent climbing in and out of equipment.
- Prioritize workplace safety.
- Be a team player willing to help team members meet performance goals.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience operating construction equipment or working in construction is preferred.
