About The Position

The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist identifies equipment needs, negotiates, and places orders. The role also requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction. The position offers steady hours, potential overtime, on-the-job training, and a possible career path into outside sales or operational management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• Previous equipment rental industry experience.
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language may be preferred in some locations.
