About The Position

The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role that supports telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a frontline customer contact, the specialist understands equipment needs, negotiates and places orders, and uses strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction. The role offers a career-growth track toward outside sales or operational management, steady hours, and potential overtime.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
Strong customer service and telephone skills.
Solid computer and administrative skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.

Nice To Haves

Previous equipment rental industry experience.
Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
Bilingual ability, such as Spanish, may be preferred in some locations.
