Equipment Rental Specialist
About The Position
The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role supporting telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. The position is a front-line customer contact responsible for understanding equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and providing customer satisfaction through a professional attitude. Strong administrative skills are also required. The role offers steady hours and potential overtime, with opportunities to develop skills for an outside sales or operational management career track. The work may require working indoors or outdoors, depending on the job.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service and telephone skills.
- Solid computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.
Nice To Haves
- Previous equipment rental industry experience.
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
- Bilingual ability, such as Spanish or another language, may be preferred in some locations.
Responsibilities
