About The Position

The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role supporting telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist understands equipment needs, negotiates and places orders, and provides customer satisfaction through a professional attitude. The position also requires strong administrative skills. Sunbelt Rentals provides extensive on-the-job training for eligible employees and describes career tracks into outside sales or operational management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous equipment rental industry experience.
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language) may be preferred in some locations.
