About The Position

The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role that supports telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist identifies equipment needs, negotiates terms, and places orders. The position also requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction. Sunbelt Rentals offers on-the-job training and potential career growth into outside sales or operational management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors or outdoors when required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous equipment rental industry experience.
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language), which may be preferred in some locations.
