About The Position

The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role supporting telephone and walk-in customers who need to rent construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist identifies equipment needs, negotiates rental terms, and places orders. The role also involves administrative work and providing customer satisfaction through a consistently professional attitude. Sunbelt Rentals provides eligible employees with on-the-job training and describes career paths into outside sales or operational management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• Previous equipment rental industry experience.
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language) may be preferred in some locations.
