About The Position
NoBull Energy is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join their construction team. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment to support site preparation, grading, trenching, material handling, and other construction activities on utility-scale projects. Candidates must be dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating construction equipment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to read and follow instructions and site directions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotational schedules when required
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in support of construction operations
- Perform grading, excavation, trenching, backfilling, and material movement activities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Follow project specifications, site plans, and supervisor direction
- Maintain awareness of underground utilities and surrounding personnel/equipment
- Assist crews with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas
- Work effectively in changing outdoor environments and weather conditions
- Support project schedules through reliable attendance and teamwork
