Equipment Operator - Full Time

About The Position

Responsible for the care and maintenance of the golf course and its surroundings. The Equipment Operator performs routine course maintenance, operates and maintains equipment, supports special projects, and helps maintain landscaped areas. Team members are expected to follow company Hospitality Standards and provide excellent guest service to members, guests, team members, and vendors, helping ensure everyone feels welcome and has a positive experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Valid Tennessee driver's license.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time; heavier loads may be lifted with assistance.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Perform daily maintenance such as changing cups, repairing divots, and moving tee markers.
Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough after completing training.
Mechanically rake and/or hand rake bunkers.
Operate small equipment such as sod cutters, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers.
Assist with special projects such as drainage, irrigation, and sod laying.
Clean, plant, and maintain landscaped areas.
Perform daily equipment maintenance, including checking or adding fluids, oil, hydraulic oil, and coolant, and checking tire pressure.
Clean equipment daily.
Report equipment problems to the equipment mechanic.
Report irregularities in course turf quality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow company Hospitality Standards when interacting with members, guests, team members, and vendors.
