About The Position

LGH, founded in 1990, operates in the hoisting and rigging equipment rental industry. The Equipment Maintenance Technician helps maintain rental equipment so it is available for safe use. The role prepares rental orders, inspects equipment, performs repairs and preventive maintenance, and supports warehouse operations by moving equipment and transporting rental orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to meet insurance underwriting guidelines.
• DOT certification upon commencement of employment, at LGH expense, and maintain certification.
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the employer cannot sponsor work visas.
• Employment offer is contingent on passing a background check and employment verifications, and a hair follicle drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical background or aptitude is strongly preferred.
• Hand and power tool experience is desired.
• Experience working on air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists, electric hoists, or other rigging equipment is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect equipment for compliance with quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, and test electrical, hand-operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload delivery vehicles and transport equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
