About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires moving to and from transport vehicles, including trailer trucks, box trucks, and delivery vans. The role selects, packs, counts, marks, weighs, and palletizes customer orders, then places tires in assigned staging areas using the bin locator system. The Warehouse Specialist follows safety guidelines when handling, stacking, and moving tires and when operating warehouse equipment. This position works Monday through Saturday with fluctuating day-shift hours. The starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with guaranteed increases totaling $2.00 over the first year of employment. It reports to the Assistant TLC Leader.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend.
Ability to accurately and efficiently unload and place received tires in the warehouse and load outbound tires into delivery vehicles.
Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires weighing up to 50 pounds or greater, with or without mechanical assistance, following standard operating and safety procedures.
Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet above ground level while tethered.
Ability to certify on and work up to 8 hours per day on a stand-up order picker or forklift.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and use computer-based programs, including an iPad.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to maintain a TireHub-sponsored forklift certification.
Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment such as gloves and protective eyewear.
Must meet the stated equipment compatibility limits of no more than 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height; reasonable accommodations will be reviewed in accordance with the ADA and other relevant laws.
Extended day, evening, and weekend work, including Saturday, may be required with little or no advance notice. Driving at night or in inclement weather may also be required.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles.
Select, pack, count, mark, and palletize customer orders and place tires in assigned staging areas according to the bin locator system.
Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment while following safety guidelines.
Complete required counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents.
Unload, load, palletize, and stack tires safely.
Participate in cycle counting and annual inventories.
Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules as assigned.
Complete other tasks assigned by a Leader or another member of leadership.
