About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist loads, unloads, checks, and tallies tires moving to and from trailer trucks, box trucks, and delivery vans. The role selects, packs, counts, weighs, marks, and palletizes tires for customer orders, placing them in assigned staging areas using a bin locator system. The Warehouse Specialist follows safety guidelines when handling, loading, unloading, palletizing, and stacking tires, and when operating warehouse equipment. The position also supports inventory control through counting, tallying, marking, cycle counts, and annual inventories. It includes ongoing assigned training and other duties assigned by a leader. The position reports to the Assistant TLC Leader.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend.
Ability to accurately and efficiently unload and place received tires in the warehouse and load outbound tires in delivery vehicles.
Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires weighing up to 50 pounds or greater, with or without mechanical assistance, following standard operating and safety procedures.
Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet above ground while tethered.
Ability to certify on and work up to 8 hours per day on a stand-up order picker or forklift.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to use computer-based programs, including an iPad.
Must maintain a TireHub-sponsored forklift certification.
May need to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment such as gloves and protective eyewear.
Specific vision abilities may include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height for compatibility with equipment and safety restraints; reasonable accommodations will be reviewed under applicable law.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, inspect, check, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles.
Select, pack, count, mark, and palletize tires for customer orders, and place them in assigned staging areas according to the bin locator system.
Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment while following safety guidelines.
Complete required counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents.
Unload, load, palletize, and stack tires safely.
Participate in cycle counting and annual inventories.
Participate in assigned ongoing training, including in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules.
Complete other tasks assigned by a leader or another member of leadership.
