About The Position

Renesas Electronics is hiring an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to support its semiconductor manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The position supports Assembly/Test manufacturing equipment and offers development opportunities at a company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-reliability semiconductors. The work is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, from 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. Candidates must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for access to ITAR-controlled articles or technical data.

Requirements

Associate of Science or Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, military training, or 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
At least 5 years supporting back-end Assembly/Test equipment, including wafer saws, die attach equipment, wire bonders, automatic wafer probers, device handlers, and mixed-signal ATE.
At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with Mil-STD 883 methods, Z540 calibration procedures, and ESD practices.
Strong mechanical skills.
Strong electronic skills.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Ability to work on complex electrical systems, including 120-, 240-, and 480-volt systems.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).
