Epic Willow Ambulatory/Inventory Analyst
About The Position
The client is seeking a senior-level Epic Willow Ambulatory/Inventory Consultant with specialized inpatient pharmacy experience. The consultant must hold Epic Willow Ambulatory and Inventory certifications and have prior Willow Ambulatory/Inventory implementation experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting. General Willow Inventory experience without inpatient pharmacy experience does not meet the role’s requirements. The consultant will work directly with pharmacy stakeholders to assess workflows, configure the application, perform testing, resolve issues, and optimize existing build. At least one full Epic Willow Ambulatory/Inventory implementation is required. This is a contract position based in Dallas, Texas, with a hybrid workplace. The stated pay range is $80.00–$100.00 per hour. Benefits may be available subject to eligibility, job classification, length of employment, and applicable plan terms. The position is anticipated to close on November 6, 2026.
Requirements
- Epic Willow Inventory certification.
- Demonstrated Willow Ambulatory/Inventory retail pharmacy experience.
- At least one full Willow Inventory implementation supporting inpatient pharmacy.
- Prior Willow Ambulatory/Inventory implementation experience specifically within an inpatient pharmacy setting; general Willow Inventory experience without inpatient pharmacy experience is insufficient.
- Strong Epic build, workflow, testing, and optimization experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
Nice To Haves
- Epic Refuel experience.
- Epic Back to Foundation experience.
- Experience assessing and realigning Willow workflows/build toward Epic foundation standards.
- Former Epic employee.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with pharmacy stakeholders to evaluate workflows.
- Configure the Epic Willow application.
- Perform application testing and resolve issues.
- Optimize existing Epic build.
- Assess and realign Willow workflows and build toward Epic foundation standards (preferred experience).
