About The Position

A large academic health system is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Team Lead to oversee a team of six while remaining hands-on with Radiant build and configuration. The role will be approximately 50% team leadership and 50% hands-on technical/build work. This is a 6-month initial contract with extensions anticipated through 12/31/2027. Minimal travel is expected, approximately 1–2 trips per year for up to one week.

Requirements

Current, active Epic Radiant certification required.
5+ years of hands-on Epic Radiant experience.
Prior experience leading or mentoring a team.
Strong hands-on Radiant build, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization experience.
Ability to effectively balance team leadership with hands-on technical work.
Must be available to work PST hours.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting a large, complex health system or academic medical center strongly preferred.
Current Epic Cupid certification.
Hands-on Cupid experience, particularly with workflows that intersect with Radiant.
Experience supporting a large-scale or multi-hospital Cupid rollout.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of six.
Manage team priorities, workload, escalations, and deliverables.
Spend approximately 50% of the role performing hands-on Radiant build, configuration, and technical support.
Serve as an escalation point for complex Radiant build and workflow issues.
Support ongoing Radiant projects, optimization, testing, upgrades, and production needs.
Partner closely with Radiology, clinical stakeholders, IT leadership, and other application teams.
Support the broader Cupid rollout where Radiant and Cupid workflows intersect, as needed.
Ensure strong communication and coordination across the team and key stakeholders.
