About The Position

Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II for our Anesthesia department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. This role involves independently analyzing intermediate-to-advanced operational and clinical requirements; designing workflows and configuring, building, testing, validating, and maintaining Epic application functionality using established standards and best practices. The analyst will own complex application incidents and requests, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate cross-application troubleshooting, implement sustainable resolutions, and ensure timely communication with affected users and leaders. They will maintain application, workflow, testing, change-control, issue, and support documentation, develop knowledge articles, training materials, and procedures, and support end-user education. Additionally, the role provides guidance and quality review for less-experienced analysts and users, shares application knowledge, and promotes consistent build, testing, and documentation practices. Participation in go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, and on-call or extended-hour support is expected, along with communicating project and issue status, risks, dependencies, and escalation needs to leadership.
