About The Position

Inova Health is seeking a dedicated EPIC Certified Systems Analyst Sr to join its EPIC Revenue Cycle team. This is a full-time, days position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. The role is fully remote for candidates residing in VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WV.

The analyst implements and maintains EpicCare systems and databases, evaluates the workflow impact of new releases, and defines software or database changes to support system functions and enhancements. The role facilitates updates and enhancements, manages testing and complex IT projects or products, and works with the Lead or Project Manager on project scope. The analyst also communicates issues and status to management, evaluates technical and application solutions, coordinates vendor evaluations, and supports team training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or four years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement.
• Three years of Epic build and implementation experience.
• EPIC Revenue Cycle certification required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance.
• Analyze new releases and determine their impact on workflows.
• Define modifications to application software or databases to address system functions or enhancements.
• Facilitate Epic updates, new releases, and system enhancements.
• Manage all phases of testing and assist the Lead or Project Manager with work effort and project scoping.
• Manage complex IT projects and products to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health System business needs using EpicCare.
• Initiate issues for resolution and escalate them, communicating status to management in a timely manner.
• Conduct and participate in system technical and application reviews to assess feasibility, cost, and usefulness for Inova.
• Coordinate vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference calls.
• Recommend team or analyst training programs and assist with developing and implementing team-member training and mentoring activities.
