EPIC Cert Systems Analyst Sr (Revenue Cycle)
About The Position
Inova Health is seeking a dedicated EPIC Certified Systems Analyst Sr to join its EPIC Revenue Cycle team. This is a full-time, day-shift role with regular office hours, Monday through Friday, and is fully remote for candidates residing in VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WV. The analyst implements and maintains EpicCare systems and databases, analyzes new releases for workflow impact, defines application or database modifications, and facilitates updates, releases, and system enhancements. The role also manages complex IT projects and products, oversees testing, supports project scoping, communicates and escalates issues, evaluates technical and application proposals, coordinates vendor demonstrations and reference activities, and contributes to analyst training and mentoring. A bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant professional experience beyond the minimum experience requirement is required. Candidates need three years of Epic build and implementation experience and EPIC Revenue Cycle certification upon starting.

Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance.
- Analyze new releases and determine their impact on workflows.
- Define modifications to application software or databases to address system functions or enhancements.
- Facilitate Epic updates, new releases, and system enhancements.
- Manage all phases of testing and assist the Lead/Project Manager with work effort and project scoping.
- Manage complex IT projects and products to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health System's business needs using the EpicCare solution.
- Initiate issues for resolution and escalate and communicate status to management in a timely manner.
- Conduct and participate in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost, and usefulness for Inova.
- Coordinate vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference calls.
- Recommend team and analyst training programs and assist in developing and implementing team member training and mentoring activities.
