About The Position

The Epic Certified ClinDoc Application Analyst II is responsible for configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting the clinical, financial, or administrative Epic modules within their area of support. This role oversees practices and processes to ensure the integrity, safety, and availability of all data and applications as part of the organization’s systems. The analyst is responsible for planning and system development, project management, and application administration. They collaborate with key stakeholders, end users, and other members of the business teams to optimize system configuration, function, and access, and facilitate team discussions and task completion that require multiple resources. A strong understanding of the organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations is essential. The role involves evaluating problem tickets and service requests, customer requests for system changes, data retrieval requests, system performance problems, and optimization opportunities, participating in their timely resolution. The analyst independently resolves the most complex, multi-function application errors and other system issues. A primary responsibility is the build and maintenance of various system dictionaries, profiles, tables, and other configuration points. They identify system enhancement requests and work with the team to implement them, independently managing the full lifecycle of medium to large optimizations and coordinating with the vendor as appropriate. Testing the system, including configurations, customizations, and new releases, prior to production implementation is crucial. The analyst works with end-users to assist with the design and testing of system reports and communicates changes to end users and other staff. They lead or facilitate system design, validation, or remediation sessions. An advanced understanding of how the assigned application impacts other systems and collaboration with integration teams to resolve complex data integration issues are required. The role involves leading large projects and acting as a subject matter expert on complex, cross-functional projects, providing guidance to level I and II analysts, and performing these functions with minimal oversight. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ build experience with the ClinDoc application, module, or equivalent system.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Expert EPIC Module knowledge in the Epic ClinDoc application in at least one functional area.
  • Current CA driver’s license for local travel.
  • IT Department Epic ClinDoc Certification/Accreditation.
  • All relevant application certifications and/or badges within area of support.

Nice To Haves

  • Acute Rehab Experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience with application, module, or equivalent system, including experience working in a health care environment department, preferably in an integrated health system environment.
  • Payroll Department only: Experience with Kronos Software applications required.
  • License Preferred: N/A
  • IT Department Other certification with the application(s) within their area of responsibility and support.
