The Epic Certified ClinDoc Application Analyst II is responsible for configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting the clinical, financial, or administrative Epic modules within their area of support. This role oversees practices and processes to ensure the integrity, safety, and availability of all data and applications as part of the organization’s systems. The analyst is responsible for planning and system development, project management, and application administration. They collaborate with key stakeholders, end users, and other members of the business teams to optimize system configuration, function, and access, and facilitate team discussions and task completion that require multiple resources. A strong understanding of the organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations is essential. The analyst evaluates problem tickets and service requests, customer requests for system changes, data retrieval requests, system performance problems, and optimization opportunities, participating in their timely resolution. They independently resolve the most complex, multi-function application errors and other system issues. The primary responsibility includes the build and maintenance of various system dictionaries, profiles, tables, and other configuration points. The analyst identifies system enhancement requests and works with the team to implement them as applicable, independently managing the full lifecycle of medium to large optimizations and coordinating with the vendor as appropriate. The role involves testing the system, including configurations, customizations, and new releases, prior to production implementation. They work with end-users to assist with the design and testing of system reports and communicate changes to end users and other staff as applicable. The analyst leads or facilitates system design, validation, or remediation sessions. An advanced understanding of how the assigned application impacts other systems is required, and they work with integration teams to resolve complex data integration issues. The analyst leads large projects and functions as a subject matter expert on complex, cross-functional projects, providing guidance to level I and II analysts. The position performs the above functions with minimal oversight and undertakes other duties as assigned.
