About The Position

As a Staff Epic Application Analyst, you’ll independently support, configure, and optimize Epic applications clinicians rely on to safely deliver patient care. You’ll translate business and clinical needs into effective system solutions, resolve complex issues, and collaborate closely with clinical and operational stakeholders. This role includes supporting integrations, owning applications across their lifecycle, leading small to mid-sized initiatives, adhering to change management standards, and maintaining required Epic certifications to improve workflows and patient outcomes. Job Description The Staff Application Analyst is responsible for providing technical support, configuration, and ongoing maintenance for assigned healthcare applications and related technologies throughout their full lifecycle. This includes application selection, implementation, optimization, support, archival, and decommissioning. The role may also manage small to mid-sized projects related to these applications and technologies. As required, the analyst maintains applicable certifications (e.g., Epic). This position performs essential functions independently under minimal supervision. The caregiver is expected to carry out standard duties with limited direction while exercising sound judgment and initiative. Essential Functions Provides independent application and technical support by resolving moderate to complex issues in alignment with service level and department standards. Collaborates wih stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into effective system designs and solutions. Configures, implements, maintains, and supports Epic applications, workflows, integrations, and related systems across the application lifecycle. Documents workflows, recommends technical solutions, and ensures adherence to change, configuration, and documentation standards. Leads small to mid-sized initiatives, coordinating resources and vendors to support implementations and enhancements. Develops and executes testing, supports reporting needs, and contributes to training and knowledge documentation. Participates in on-call rotations, command center activities, and cross-team collaboration as required, including delivery of ServiceHub MVPs.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of related work experience or Actively working toward a bachelor’s degree with four (4) years of experience in a related field.
  • Requires certification in one or more Epic applications and ongoing maintenance of certification, as applicable.
  • Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move finger and hands
  • See and read computer monitors and documents
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to preform work

Nice To Haves

  • Epic build experience for at least 2 years in Behavioral Health, Inpatient Rehab, Long Term Care or other related specialties.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
  • Epic Analyst experience with active certification
  • Experience supporting electronic medical record (EMR) systems is strongly preferred.
  • Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree with Supervisor and Human Resources approval.
