About The Position

Medtronic is seeking an EP Mapping Specialist for its Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team. This remote position is not based at a physical Medtronic site; the employee must reside within the assigned territory and travel among accounts throughout the region. The role provides clinical and technical support and training to physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on the EP mapping and navigation system, CAS products, and related procedures. It also supports territory sales objectives, develops customer relationships, and collaborates with local and regional sales and clinical teams. Multiple levels are available based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma and at least 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; or an associate degree and at least 4 years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
Must reside within the assigned territory and be available there each day for unscheduled needs.
Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed.
Ability to drive approximately 25–50% of the time within the assigned territory; occasional travel outside the territory and overnight travel may be required.
Ability to move throughout a facility, use a phone, keyboard, and mouse, and visually interact with personal computers.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for 8 hours a day.
For bachelor's degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice To Haves

B.A. or B.S. degree in nursing, cardiovascular studies, life sciences, or a technical discipline, with at least four years of work experience in a cardiac field, hospital or clinic, or sales.
Proven track record with technical training assignments.
Experience in cardiac catheter ablation, an EP lab, a hospital or clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical or clinical support.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and CAS products.
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals for CAS products.
Develop and cultivate customer relationships that result in incremental business.
Partner with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
Collaborate with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other Cardiac Ablation Solutions products.
Collaborate and communicate with regional sales and clinical teams.
Represent Medtronic CAS products, services, and support effectively to physicians and support staff.
Serve as a regional champion, sharing experience and helping others become proficient in mapping technology.
