About The Position

Performs general daily cleaning and supplies patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, corridors, and other assigned areas. The role helps provide an environmentally safe and clean atmosphere in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department. The position is a regular, day-shift role with an FTE of 1.

Requirements

• Demonstrate applicable knowledge of supplies and equipment used in the Environmental Services Department.
• Be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate a vacuum cleaner and make beds.
• Efficiently dry and wet mop floors in rooms, offices, and public areas.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or GED.
• Housekeeping or related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, corridors, and other assigned areas daily.
• Clean floors in rooms, offices, corridors, and public areas using dry and wet mopping.
• Operate a vacuum cleaner and make beds.
• Follow standard procedures of the housekeeping department to maintain a safe and clean environment.
