About The Position

Performs housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the hospital. The role is scheduled for 24 hours, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday availability required. Requirements

• 0–1 year of work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms daily according to hospital and department standards, using seven-step procedures and properly disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, and floors.
• Clean patient discharge rooms.
• Clean precaution rooms according to Infection Control policies and use proper disinfectants.
• Clean restrooms daily according to hospital and department standards using seven-step procedures.
• Clean offices and conference rooms daily according to hospital and department standards using seven-step procedures.
• Clean entrances, lobbies, and waiting areas daily according to hospital and department standards using seven-step procedures.
• Vacuum carpets according to department procedures.
• Clean utility rooms and nourishment stations according to hospital and department standards using seven-step procedures.
• Clean corridors and ancillary areas according to hospital and department standards using seven-step procedures.
• Clean, strip, refinish, spray buff, shampoo, and maintain floors.
• Operate automatic floor, buffing, and shampooing machines, as well as vacuums.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of equipment.
• Assist in training new personnel.
