About The Position

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring Environmental Services Technicians to keep the store clean and presentable for customers through housekeeping and janitorial work. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. The full-time schedule is four consecutive 10-hour days, and the part-time schedule is the remaining three days, also at 10 hours per day.

Technicians perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing, and are trained to use buffers and floor scrubbers. They are also responsible for trash and bathrooms and for physically processing donated items, including loading and unloading. Task outlines and applicable ISO regulations, company policies, and state policies guide safe and secure work.

Requirements

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, and dust.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience.

Responsibilities
