Environmental Services Technician - Per Diem
About The Position
Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare, is seeking an Environmental Services Technician. This is a Per Diem/PRN/As Needed position with varied hours, typically from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Sunday through Saturday. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges resulting from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Requirements
- Previous Housekeeping experience required.
Nice To Haves
- High School degree or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.
- Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
- Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
- Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
