About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing daily staff duties and assignments within the department, ensuring tasks are completed to the set standard. This role involves evaluating conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality control measures, and coordinating staff training on the proper use of chemicals, equipment, processes, and safety issues. The position is based at Advocate/Atrium Health Union West and operates on the 1st Shift.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
  • Will limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the information reasonably necessary to do the job.
  • Will share information only on a need-to-know basis for work purposes.
  • Access to verbal, written and electronic PHI for this job has been determined based on job level and job responsibility within the organization.
  • Computerized access to PHI for this job has been determined as described above and is controlled via user ID and password.
