Environmental Services Lead Technician - Advocate/Atrium Health Kings Mtn. - 1st Shift Full-Time
About The Position
The Environmental Services Lead Technician oversees daily staff duties and assignments in the department, ensuring completion that meets set standards. This role involves evaluating conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality control measures, and coordinating staff training in the proper use of chemicals, equipment, processes, and safety issues. The position requires the ability to work independently, follow oral and written instructions, and complete written forms. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles and possess skills appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served. Access to protected health information (PHI) will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for job functions and shared on a need-to-know basis.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
- Capable of working independently.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
- Will limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the information reasonably necessary to do the job.
- Will share information only on a need-to-know basis for work purposes.
- Access to verbal, written and electronic PHI for this job has been determined based on job level and job responsibility within the organization.
- Computerized access to PHI for this job has been determined as described above and is controlled via user ID and password.
