Environmental Services Supervisor - Advocate/Atrium Health Cleveland - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor for the second shift at Atrium Health Cleveland. This full-time position involves coordinating and directing Environmental Services operations, orienting and training teammates, preparing schedules, and performing environmental service assignments. The role also includes managing departmental equipment and maintaining records. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of one year of institutional housekeeping experience, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants must also pass a physical ability test.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of one year of institutional housekeeping required.
- Requires continuous walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50-pounds; also pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing ladders that is generally inside.
- Contact with water and cleaning solution, potentially contaminated waste, including sharps and other bio-hazardous waste.
- Applicants for this position are required to undergo a physical ability test as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates and directs routine and non-routine Environmental Services operations for assigned area or shift.
- Orients and trains assigned teammates.
- Prepares schedules and resolves work-related staffing issues.
- Performs environmental service assignments.
- Prepares, processes or maintains records, reports, forms and other documents.
- Assumes responsibility for the operation and care of the departmental equipment used by assigned teammates.
