About The Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor supervises daily staff activities for an assigned shift. This role assesses the quality of services delivered, supports staff development, and ensures compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. The supervisor coordinates staffing, provides direction and training, and helps resolve complex issues and complaints. The position is based in Hollywood, Florida, and is assigned to night shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Critical thinking and effective communication skills.
• Decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisory experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
• Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting new employees.
• Effectively manage department technology, including bed management programs.
• Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
