About The Position

Bethany of the Northwest is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for our Silver Lake facility in South Everett. The EVS Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Environmental Services department to facilitate consistent delivery of quality patient-centered care and efficient operations in a safe and comfortable environment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in health care environmental services, including managing Housekeeping and Laundry departments.
Experience with multi-facility scheduling; budgeting and supply acquisition procedures.
Excellence in people management skills as well as excellent customer service skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Reliable transportation and flexibility to commute between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Trains and supervises staff, prioritizes, and assigns work to ensure EVS services are delivered to all locations and departments in a professional, effective and timely manner.
Monitors to ensure procedures are followed and quality and service standards are consistently met.
Coordinates work with outside vendors as needed.
Leads and maintains a customer service-oriented culture.
Addresses questions and concerns and responds to special requests.
Manages inquiries (in person, via phone or email) and resolves problems in a timely and effective manner.
Coordinates staffing schedules and assignments.
Develops schedules in accordance with applicable guidelines; ensures coverage for all shifts.
Verifies and approves scheduling and timekeeping records in accordance with corporate policies.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships.
Demonstrates an attitude of cooperation and professionalism and fosters harmonious relationships to ensure patient care and customer service expectations are met.
Manages assigned staff; leads by example and provides support, guidance, coaching and performance management when needed.
Performs additional related duties and projects as assigned.
