About The Position

The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is recruiting for an Environmental Services Journey 2 position at the Goose Creek Correctional Center (GCCC) located in Mackenzie Point, Alaska. This position involves training, directing, and reviewing the work of inmate workers in custodial and laundry services areas, and maintaining a clean and sanitary physical environment throughout the institution. Light duty cleaning services may also be performed with the help of inmate workers.

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal history check.
• Must be fingerprinted.
• Must obtain a security clearance issued by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to use the Alaska Public Safety Information Network (APSIN).
