About The Position

This position will support a statewide initiative to modernize and maintain accurate facility documentation for State-owned buildings. Duties include using handheld LiDAR scanning equipment to capture detailed interior building layouts and structural data, as well as collecting 360-degree images and video to create immersive virtual walkthroughs. The information gathered will assist in developing and updating digital floorplans, improving facility records, and enhancing the State’s ability to manage, assess, and plan for building operations and maintenance.

Requirements

Valid Alaska Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Using handheld LiDAR scanning equipment to capture detailed interior building layouts and structural data.

Enhancing the State’s ability to manage, assess, and plan for building operations and maintenance.
Traveling to multiple locations across Alaska.
