About The Position

The Environmental Services Housekeeper ensures cleanliness and sanitization in applicable hospital departments. The position reports to the Director of Environment Services and/or designated supervisors and performs cleaning procedures throughout assigned hospital areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. The Housekeeper maintains courteous and considerate relations with medical and administrative staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees; completes special projects as assigned; and keeps equipment and storage areas clean and neat.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret, communicate, read, and understand written and verbal material in English to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
• Maintain courteous and considerate relations with medical staff, administrative staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.
• Complete special projects throughout the hospital as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of equipment and equipment storage areas.
