About The Position

The EVS Attendant performs cleaning duties to maintain the facility, patient care areas, offices, lobbies, and bathrooms in a clean and orderly condition. The role cleans assigned patient care areas, common areas, and/or off-site locations using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment. Duties also include removing trash, including hazardous and bio-hazardous waste; keeping the housekeeping closet, cart, and cleaning equipment orderly and in good working condition; cleaning equipment and notifying a supervisor about items needing repair; delivering and retrieving equipment or furniture; and setting up and tearing down meeting rooms according to requirements. Work is performed in accordance with established quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to exert 20–50 pounds of force occasionally, 10–25 pounds frequently, and negligible to 10 pounds often; physical demands exceed those for Medium Work.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
