About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial Operations Manager 2 for a healthcare account in Tallahassee, FL. This role will manage a team of housekeepers on the evening shift (approximately 2PM-12AMish) and work weekends as needed and holidays. The position reports to the General Manager. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

Requirements

• Experience leading and managing a team
• A leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system
• Strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
• Can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management
• Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
• Results and safety driven
• Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
• Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
• Work closely with the Infectious Control department
• Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
• Support a diverse and inclusive workforce
