About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment. The role supports regulatory compliance and quality standards while helping create a healing environment for patients. The aide cleans hospital areas using various equipment, maintains a tidy work environment, and follows procedures for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations. The position requires working independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations. Weekday and/or weekend work, as well as evening and/or night shifts, may be required if needed.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Use high dusters, vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and other tools to perform cleaning duties.
• Handle general office equipment and assist in maintaining a tidy work environment.

• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
