About The Position

The Environmental Liability Administration Support will support the DOE, Idaho Cleanup Project (DOE-ICP) and reports to the Director of Federal Services. This position is 100% on-site. Street Legal is currently seeking an Environmental Liability Administration Support to join our project in Idaho Falls, ID.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in a related field or six years of experience in a non-related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and utilization of Microsoft Teams and other office suite software.
  • Ability to work simultaneously and in a collaborative manner.
  • Skilled in problem identification and resolution.
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working with DOE complex and technical standards, or similar, is preferred.
  • Experience in working with external agencies (e.g. DOE HQ and EM directives and standards points of contact) preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Idaho site, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support development, validation, and documentation of Environmental Liability (EL) estimates in accordance with DOE requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain cost, schedule, and technical data supporting EL calculations and assumptions, including activities associated with Solid Waste, Liquid Waste, and other environmental management programs.
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure EL estimates, supporting documentation, and analyses are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Prepare audit support materials, respond to data requests, and support KPMG and other independent audit reviews, assessments, and inquiries.
  • Provide analytical, programmatic, and project support as assigned across environmental liability, waste management, and related program areas to meet mission and organizational priorities.
  • Attend/participate in all relevant Conference Calls and meetings specific to the review process, as appropriate and as directed by DOE.
  • Review of all documents, reports, materials, etc., pertinent to the foregoing and providing comments and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Provide independent oversight and analysis of various activities, as well as any required support to include accompanying DOE participants.
  • Thorough and timely collection, dissemination, storage, and disposition of program/project information, in addition to comprehensive communications and information distribution, planning and performance/achievement reporting, and other administrative information management and dissemination, as appropriate, to successfully complete the activity.
