About The Position

An inter-disciplinary examination of current environmental issues, including scientific aspects, socioeconomic concerns, environmental impacts, and remedial actions. Topics vary from year to year and may include climate change, biodiversity loss, natural resource management, energy, air or water pollution.

Requirements

  • Granted degree: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Earth Sciences or Environmental Sciences.
  • In-depth knowledge of the problem issues in the environment.
  • Prior experience in teaching undergraduate courses at the University.
  • Competence in second language (French).

Responsibilities

  • Teach Environmental Issues course (EVS3101, Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Conduct an inter-disciplinary examination of current environmental issues.
  • Cover topics such as climate change, biodiversity loss, natural resource management, energy, air or water pollution.
