About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is looking for a hard-working and dedicated college student to gain valuable work experience in their field through a summer internship. The intern will learn from great mentors and leaders while participating in fieldwork, data compilation, and assisting with environmental compliance and documentation.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or related field.
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Passion for environmental or ecological studies.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to students that do not require sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Participate in fieldwork activities such as sampling, monitoring, and environmental surveys.
- Document findings from field activities and compile data for analysis, including GIS mapping.
- Collaborate with team members in planning and executing field visits.
- Assist in creating reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings.
- Assist in ensuring that the company’s practices align with environmental regulations.
- Help in maintaining records, permits, and documentation required for regulatory compliance.
