Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is a 100% employee-owned environmental consulting firm that plans, designs, permits, mitigates, and restores projects across communities, infrastructure systems, open spaces, and wildlands. With 50 years of experience and 21 offices, ESA is offering a Florida Environmental Internship - Fall 2026 program. This is a variable part-time paid opportunity running for approximately four months, starting in August 2026, with 12 to 24 hours per week. The program aims to promote diversity in environmental, engineering, and planning fields by creating opportunities for students from historically under-represented groups, including BIPOC, veterans, disabled individuals, and first-generation college students. Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to working in person or hybrid from the Tampa, Florida ESA Office for optimized engagement and hands-on training/mentorship. Qualified candidates must be currently enrolled in university or recent graduates (including grad students). A tailored cover letter stating your area of interest and reasons for seeking an internship with ESA is recommended. The application deadline is May 25, 2026. The Fall 2026 Internship (Florida) will focus on the Biological Resources & Land Management (BRLM) environmental market, hosted out of the Tampa, Florida ESA Office.
