About The Position

This co-op position focuses on implementing and maintaining the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) management system and programs. The co-op will provide critical EH&S support to the site EH&S generalist, assisting in developing strategies and policies for continuous improvement. The role involves supporting site projects and contractor safety programs, gaining an understanding of site processes and equipment, identifying hazards, and ensuring risks are managed. The co-op will gain hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, learn about EH&S management systems, and develop skills to improve ergonomics, health, and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related STEM field.
Actively enrolled in a degree program throughout the duration of the co-op session.

Experience with CAD and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) management system and programs.
