About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Technical Services Account Manager to join the South Texas Sales team! The TS Account Managers will drive new waste management business while growing existing accounts. This role focuses on lead generation, customer acquisition, and expanding services across hazardous waste, environmental solutions, and compliance. Partnering with internal teams, the Account Manager helps clients improve safety, reduce risk, and ensure proper waste management. Territory: The Account Manager will be responsible for covering Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi, TX.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of strong B2B and complex sales background.
  • RCRA and DOT training/understanding.
  • Must live within territory defined, hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
  • Proven ability to build relationships (environmental service, waste‑management contracts highly preferred)
  • Skilled in strategic selling, analysis, and project planning/management.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize Health & Safety by adhering to all environmental and regulatory safety practices.
  • Use insight‑driven selling to educate customers on waste‑management challenges and position Clean Harbors solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth across multi‑site waste‑management accounts.
  • Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Clean Harbors solutions within their organization; Research prospective organizations to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to.
  • Strengthening customer relationships through contract oversight, service delivery follow‑up, and continuous improvement.
  • Propose, negotiate, and close profitable environmental services contracts with senior operations and EHS leaders.
  • Prospect and develop new Technical Services accounts using structured target analysis and waste‑stream evaluation.
