About The Position

McFarland Clinic is accepting applications for an Enviro Services Worker at its Ames office. Under general supervision, this role performs assigned daily cleaning to maintain the Clinic in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, sterilizing buildings, and removing waste paper and possible medical waste from offices, exam rooms, and waiting areas. The position involves exposure to common cleaning chemicals and requires the ability to lift 75 pounds. Hepatitis B and TB immunizations are required and provided by the Clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• PC experience required.
• Able to lift 75 pounds.
• Hepatitis B and TB immunizations are required; the Clinic provides them.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to drive company vehicles by McFarland Clinic's auto insurance carrier, if the job assignment requires driving a company vehicle.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are conditions of hire.

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
