About The Position

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, is hiring an Entry Level Technician to perform entry-level maintenance repairs and services on customers’ vehicles while delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction. The technician works with store management to meet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards and follows internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service focus in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Basic understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
• Perform lube, oil, and filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform vehicle maintenance repairs without supervision, including replacing headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blades.
• Work with store management to meet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Follow internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area and properly dispose of waste products.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.
